Nicole Schwarze is a photographer based in New Jersey. Most of her work centers around portraiture and specializes in character-driven, highly stylized imagery. Her work blends soft color palettes with whimsical, fantasy-inspired elements.
Nicole loves the collaborative and transformative nature of portraiture. Her favorite shoots are the ones she designs: centering around characters, building small sets, and getting hands-on with styling. These personal projects are what fuel her creativity and inform the distinctive aesthetic that draws her clients to her work. She claims her inspiration comes from living in her imagination and often describes her work as an elaborate game of dress up.
She studied photography at the School of Visual Arts, earning her BFA and graduating in 2022. She currently works at a fine art framing company in New York, further immersing herself in the art world.
